About New College Nottingham
New College Nottingham (often referred to as "NCN") is a college of further and higher education based in Nottingham, England. It provides education and training from pre-entry through to university-degree level, at several campuses in the City of Nottingham. It is accredited as a centre by the British Council. Colleges have smaller class sizes than universities, so studying your Foundation Programme or University Level course means you have more personal attention and support from tutors.
INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME (A LEVELS)
You will choose three or four A level subjects to study in year 1, alongside English language classes. Each A Level subject is made up of 4.5 hours, 1 hour a week of tutorial and 8 hours of English language support. You will also need English Language at IELTS 5.0 with no less than 4.5 in any elements.
INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMMES (ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION)
These programmes of study programmes of study are designed to prepare international students for a range of degree programmes. International Foundation Programme: in Accounting, Architecture, Business, Economics and Management, Engineering, Medicine, and Science. These degrees allow access to higher education.
VOCATIONAL COURSES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Vocational courses are very practical and are designed to teach you the skills you will need to work in a particular industry. They can also support you with entry to higher education and university.
