South and City College Birmingham is a vocational college which offers students part time, full time and Apprenticeship courses from level 1 to higher education in a range of subjects. South and City College Birmingham is one of the biggest and most successful government funded colleges in the UK, ideally located in its second biggest city, Birmingham. General English Language (Elementary and Pre-intermediate)
This course will provide you with the building blocks that you need in order to master the language. Equal time is spent on developing your confidence in reading, writing and speaking and listening.
Intensive General English with IELTS (Advanced)
These courses are aimed at students who already have good English Language skills but are aiming for high-level IELTS scores or good academic English skills for better career opportunities or to go to university.
Intensive General English (Intermediate and Upper Intermediate)
This intensive English course for international students is for 21 hours per week for students at intermediate level who want to develop their English skills for better career opportunities or to go to University. Students will be placed in classes at Intermediate or Upper Intermediate level.
Pre-Sessional : English for Academic Purposes
This course is for 25 hours per week for international students who have a conditional offer for University study, but do not currently meet the English language requirements. The aim of the course is to develop English language skills, especially the academic language and skills needed for higher level study.
A Level courses can help set you up for success in your career. Many students go on to enjoy a broad range of opportunities after completing their A Level courses; typically choosing three or four A Levels for a two-year study programme.
