About Chichester College

Chichester College is a college of further education in Chichester, West Sussex, England. It has a second, campus at Brinsbury, near Pulborough and small centres in Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing. It is a member of the Collab Group which represents the largest colleges in England.  Chichester College has over 15,000 students, of whom over 5,000 are full-time (about 4,000 are between 16 and 18 years old; 1,000 are over 19 and several hundred are taking university level courses).

A-LEVELS (INTERNATIONAL)

A-level programme is designed to challenge you and give you an in-depth understanding of your chosen academic subjects. The A-level courses are for the most able students who are seeking places on competitive degree courses at the most elite universities in the UK or internationally. A-levels are essential for any students considering applying to Oxford or Cambridge University.

INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMME

The International Foundation Year at Chichester College is an ideal way for students to gain the qualifications, knowledge and confidence needed for entry on to their dream degree course. The International Foundation Year (IFY) is a one-year pre-university qualification which is designed to provide you with an entry route to UK or overseas universities or progression on to the NCC Education Level 4 Diplomas in Computing, Business or Business IT.

HNC & HND (INTERNATIONAL)

Higher National Certificates (HNCs) and Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) are very well established and highly regarded by UK universities and employers. HNCs are equivalent to first year of an undergraduate degree and the HND the second year. You will be taught in classes with UK students and possibly other international students.

Access to Higher Education courses are designed for students over the age of 19 and provide a ONE year study programme to gain entry to UK universities. The Access course provides adult students with the equivalent of THREE full A-levels and a full Level 3 qualification in ONE year. HNCs and HNDs are university level courses that are equivalent to the first and second years, respectively, of an honours degree.

VOCATIONAL (INTERNATIONAL)

Vocational courses have been specifically designed to give you the advantage of practical, work-related skills and experience in addition to a recognised and highly respected qualification. You will be taught in classes with UK students and possibly other international students.

Accommodation

ACCOMMODATION FOR 16-17 YEARS

If you are on a full time course and are between 16 and 17 years old at the time of admission and unable to travel into college daily, you can choose to live in accommodation at our Chichester or Brinsbury campuses.

Woodlands Hall of Residence : Woodlands Halls of Residence sits within the Chichester College campus, provides secure accommodation for 16-17 year olds and is staffed 24 hours a day by trained supervisors. Woodlands provides catering to residents on a full-board basis, which is included in the accommodation price.

Homestay : Homestay means that you will live in a house with the owner and family. This accommodation is available if you are on a full-time course and both self-catering and half-board are available.

ACCOMMODATION FOR 18+ YEARS

If you are on a full time course, are 18 years old or over at the time of admission and are unable to travel into college daily, you can choose to live in accommodation at our Chichester campus or nearby.

Westgate Hall of Residence : Westgate Halls provides accommodation for students who are 18 and over at time of admission. Westgate has superb self-catering and full board student accommodation for 160 residents. All rooms are single and en-suite with some having been specifically designed to meet the needs of disabled students.

Homestay : Homestay means that you will live in a house with the owner and family. This accommodation is available if you are on a full-time course and both self-catering and half-board are available.
